Three Wolves teams returned to league action on Sunday, and although all three recorded two wins from two, it was a day of sadness for the club.
On Saturday, club managers received the sad news that our club captain, Mick Donoghue, had lost his mother on Friday.
All three teams wanted to show their respect for Mick. who is a longstanding servant of the club and universally popular figure at the Wolves and on the wider ball hockey circuit, and did so by observing a minutes silence on the day.
The club would like to extend our most sincere condolences to Mick and his family at this most difficult time.
