This Wednesday will see a strong contingent of Wolves junior players jetting off to Bratislava, Slovakia for the BHUK Junior Lions development camp.
This is the third annual development camp, with Lions teams previously competing in Pilsen, Czech Republic and Nitra, Slovakia, against local junior teams. Throughout this year’s development camp, there will be representatives of the club across all three of the Lions’ squads at u11, u13 and u15 age categories.
Many Wolves players, such as the Timberwolves’ Jacob Taylor and Hadden Bolstridge, will be playing in a Lions jersey for the second time, whereas others will be making their debut. The camp will provide the Wolves’ players, most of whom train with the Huskies, with a fantastic opportunity to gain experience of hockey away from British shores, as well as the chance to impress coaches of GB’s main junior teams, with an eye on the junior World Championships in the summer of 2018.
Everyone at the club wishes the best of luck and a huge congratulations to the junior Lions playing in Slovakia this week, it will be a truly fantastic opportunity and will provide memories that will last a life time.
