It is with great pleasure that the Nottingham Wolves can announce the club’s newest sponsor, GlobeSec security. Managing Director of GlobeSec, Ian Jewitt, recently agreed to sponsor the club and we couldn’t be happier. Ian has been working with the Club committee for several months, broadening the experience base of the committee and offering some much-needed commercial advice. Ian is keen to see the club develop and for the sport as a whole to grow within the UK.
Ian, who has been Managing Director of GlobeSec for 14 years is also an active player at the club and a member of the Timberwolves competing in BHUK central conference tier 2. He is a forward, playing in his second season with the T-Wolves. Ian is a former GB speed skater and a level one ice hockey coach, currently coaching at Nottingham ice hockey club.
Keeping up with the tradition of the Wolves being very much a family club, Ian’s son Mitch is also involved in the club at junior level. Mitch has played in several tournaments with the Huskies, our junior team. He has also been involved in the GB Lions under 13s and was one of five Huskies that travelled to Slovakia last June to compete in a tournament in Nitra. And it doesn’t end there. Ian’s sister in law, Lyn Kirk, has also been training with our ladies team, the Vixens.
GlobeSec security are designers and installers of Fire & Security Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, IT Networks & Data Centres and Automation Systems. GlobeSec are based on Park Lane in Basford, Nottingham. You can visit the GlobeSec website at http://www.globesec.org/.
The club would like to extend our sincerest thanks to Globesec for agreeing to sponsor us and also to Ian for his help with the committee and his dedication to the club.
