Player Profile - Rob Clayton

Chairperson of the club, Rob has been playing Ball Hockey since he was 15 years old and has been playing for 30 years. He has represented Team GB on two separate occasions, one in 2009 and the other in 2011, captaining in the second of those two years. Rob started playing for the Wolves shortly after they formed in 1993 and was the first club captain.

How did you get into Hockey? "I was always an Ice Hockey fan from watching the Panthers, but never got round to learning to skate. There was no rec Ice Hockey when I was a teenager, so Gym Hockey (as it was called then) was the easiest option."
 
Best Moment in Hockey: "Captaining GB in 2011 and winning the Nationals in 2011 and 2013."
 
Worst Moment in Hockey: "Losing the National finals in 2010, 2012 and 2014."
